Pick-Up Basketball

VBS is just around the corner! Pre-Registration is in full swing. Simply fill out the Sign-Up form on this page and click send. We’re excited about everything planned this year. We have Worship Fun Zone with Sonya. Pastor games. Missions at Firefly Cavern. Games. Snacks. Crafts and so much more! This year’s family night features Kids Celebration an interactive family event. Your job description is simple: watch over and care for God’s beautiful little ones. ONLY 30 days til the start of VBS!!!
March 15-19 from 9am-noon.

Sign-Up has begun. Look soon for online sign-up. Sign-up is absolutely Free! All kids who are PreK (those who turned 4 by September 1 of 2009) all the way through 6th grade. We have exciting things planned for everyone!

We still need leaders. Do not wait for someone else to sign-up. Allow God to use you this year! We need 10 leaders in the Preschool (Babies-PreK) and 16 in the Elementary (1st-4th Grade). Jobs range from leading a missions class for Preschoolers to walking around and building relationships with 4th graders. Sign-Up now! E-mail Sara at sara@firstsouthern.tv.

VBS Update: Collect! Collect! Collect!

We need everyone to help us collect a few items for VBS 2010 (March 15-19).

Items Needed:

Paper towel tubes (we cannot use toilet paper tubes)
Shoe boxes with lids (we need about 60)
Empty plastic containers from concentrated orange juice
Empty mini canisters for potato chips

Drop off the items in the blue cardboard box located at the front desk in the Hope Building anytime the church building is open.
